I was born and raised in Montana, and have been photographing the natural world for the past 15 years. Fascinated with wildlife and nature, I have a deep rooted connection to nature and love to capture the beauty of the wild in photographs.

 

I am primarily a self-taught photographer but do have a formal education in photography from the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from the University of Montana. I currently lives and work in the beautiful Flathead Valley and when not shooting prefers to spend my time hiking, paddling and exploring the backcountry of Montana and the western U.S.
